The song is one of the recordings made in Athens, in 1932, by the American record label RCA Victor.
Aristomenis Kalyviotis mentions the following (2019: 103): "In 1932, and between May 5 and 10, a crew of the record label 'The Gramophone Co Ltd' made a new cycle of recordings in Greece. The numbers given in the matrices range from 1135 to 1194 and what was noted was the following: 'OK' for the 25 cm records and '2K' for the 30 cm records. However, the available data show that all 60 recordings were made by 'Victor'. They were later released exclusively in America under the labels of 'Victor' or 'Orthophonic' because all these recordings have a '2K' matrix note. However, there is no indication from any evidence that T. Dimitriadis has any participation in these recordings."
The label of the record reads "Rempetiko".
